The Anonymous hacker collective twitter handle is being followed by more than half million people on twitter.

All these followers may not be supporting the Hacktivism by the Anonymous group, however most of them believes that it is the right place to get the faster and uncensored news about the hack attacks.

For Anonymous it is a good mile stone that it can mobilize the ideas to this many people by just a tweet. For example, the response to the MegaUpload arrests and the take down by the authorities Anonymous were able to launch a large campaign against the authorities through Twitter.
